From the life and writings of Ayn Rand, a new philosophy was birthed. Her philosophy continues to be a major influence in our society today. How will you impact your world?
Well I can't really say what my impact on the world will be. I want to be a vet. Maybe I'll be a super good one. I really don't know. No one can predict the future. Who knows I might become a writer and impact the world that way. I'm not sure yet though.
I want to impact the world in a positive way. But I also think you need to start off small to do great things. I will be charitable, helpful, and friendly. Whatever career path I take, I want it to be one that has relevance to the world around me.
I hope to impact the world by being a positive face in society. Someone kids can look up to and parents not worring their kids might look up to a negative influence. Being a positive influence you must be honest, trustworthy, and have a good personality
When i think of great impacts that were left in history that i want to follow, i immediately think of the twelve apostles of Jesus. They took the foundations of what they knew and saw, and through God, twelve men started spreading the word of Christ. That is the impact i want to leave. I want people to be able to look at my life and see a difference, not because i was a rich person, or because i invented a philosophy, or gadget, but because I had a changed life due to Christ dwelling in me. I want there to be a difference in how i live my life, and I don't want the credit for it, but that my life is simply the love of Christ in me, for it is through him i live and move and breath. Without him i am nothing, but with him i can do all things.
The mark that i want to leave on the world is that I have always wanted to be a movie director since i was little and through the movies i will make i want people to either learn a good lesson that is able to help them in their life or just to be able to really enjoy the movie that they watch.
I want to go beyond my dreams, and do the unthinkable. At this point in my life the only impact that I want to make in this world is totally different from the way Ayn Rand impacted the world. The way I see it the only way I can impact the world is to make my parents proud and give my grandmother another reason to smile again. I'm really not for sure in another way how I can actually impact the world, or give people another reason to remember me. I just want to be able to achieve something.
I would like to show people that have messed up lives and/or make or have made poor choices can still be successful. It doesn't matter how they used to live. There are people out there who used to be like them and would love to help and open there arms to those who are in need. In general, I'd like to let people know there is still hope for them, even when they think it's run out.
I want to be remembered for something that people will embrace, not fight over. I'm not all for glory, so if I die and only my family and the people I care about remember me, I will still feel like I have fufilled my purpose. Just to be thought of as someone who made them smile would be enough.
If not the world, then i would like to die and have been known for helping save someones life. The phsycology i am looking into for adolesences and young adult to try to help those that are in direr need of just someone to talk to and knowing how to cope with certain things. The world is such a big place and if your not in the head lines of the world then things are hard to say you can impact the world, but to help many people around me would allow me to die in peace. I do give thank to Ayn Rand, because she is a leader and even though she had the world against her and she is now an author well known and taught in many school. Thats how i want to be remembered.
Ayn Rand impacted and influenced our society so much today simply by stating what she thinks about and her beliefs in God and Christianity. The arguments about christianity has been long going. Ayn Rand did not even mean to make such an uproar in society. I believe that if you want to impact the world you can not be scared to stand up for what you believe in and not to worry about what other people think about you or your feelings. To impact the world may mean different things to different people ,but to me it just means making people question what they have been doing and realizing that something is going wrong. Simply standing up for what you believe in can effect a lot more people than you thought.
I will impact my world by setting good examples for the people around me and treating others the way I would want to be treated. The actions and decisions I choose to make now and in the future will impact my world and the people around me. I wish to impact the world in a positive way now and as I grow older. I am going to make the right decisions and stand out in a positive way.
I would like to impact the world by being a leader in the community. If I achieve this, people will be able to look up to me and follow my actions. Hopefully I will help make todays society a better place to live.
Everyone wishes to leave their mark on this world, and this is true for me also. Ayn Rand truely shook the world with her book, and is continued to be talked about today. I want to be like her in this aspect. Im not sure exactly how yet. I'm not very sure what impact i would want on the world. I want to become an ophthalmologist to be able to help people. I've always wanted to be an eye doctor ever since my brother doesn't have a great eye sight that he might of needed surgery for it. I wanted to be able to help people like him who struggle with their eyesight. I want to leave a positive impact on this world.
In life the most important thing to me is success. The only impact I want to leave is to just be a good hearted person and to just tell people you don't have to be cruel or challenging in life to get what you want . I just really want everybody to understand how to be kind to one another because of my actions. Also I would like to impact the world by being the most talented viola player in the world. The way I see it is if you try at what you want and you don't give up any dream or goal is possible
I want to impact my world by saving the animals. There are so many animals getting abused and killed. I dont know if the world really cares about saving the animals so i might not impact the world, but i can try by donating money to animal shelters for right now. I have no idea how to impact the world and I dont think i will.
Like Ayn Rand, I would like to impact the world. I might not be able to make one of the greatest impacts, but I hope to contribute some good things for our society. A thought that I have of impacting the world is helping in the medical field. There are many issues in this area and I'm shooting for a new discovery in finding cures or treatments for patients. I honestly do not like seeing people suffer and not being able to stop the pain, and I know many others feel the same way, so I want to improve these problems. My name might not be remembered or I might not be discussed like how Ayn Rand was, but as long as I impacted the world in some way, I would be fine. (:
By seeing how many individuals have had a major impact in our society today, I begin to think what kind of impact I could have. Well I see how our nations and how other nations govern without fairness. The type i would like to have for us all is one that is treating everyone equal and with freedom but keeping them in line WITHOUT cruel punishments. I don't believe that the best type of government has been developed yet. The U.S. isn't a bad one but it certainly has it's flaws. One that can improve and benefit everyone globally and met all of our needs and our freedom. One that does not have gray areas where something/someone could slip through. I would like to be a part of that impact.
There are many ways i could impact my world and many ways to make it better for me and others. I believe what i need to do is to learn to live up to my full potential and be the best i can be. I could help people in so many ways and help out the world in so many ways in my life. The only way ill be able to do that though is to be the best i am at whatever i do in life.
Ayn Rand did have a definite impact with her new philosophy. Unlike Ms.Rand, I would like to leave a different impact. Years from now when I'm gone I want people to be able to think of my life as..different. I want people to be able to see God through the life I lived and take an experience of my life to benefit there own. The whole reason of this life IS God,so why not leave an impression toward that purpose? I really am nothing, and with God I have something and someone to live for.
I can impact the world by setting good example and being a good role model. I also want to do something to benefit the world. But first I must make sure to get the best grades in school and try my hardest. Good fortune and fame dont come from slacking off and being a bad person(Most of the time).
I want to make an impact on the world that will be remembered in a positive way. Since I hope to have a career in the medical field, I want to assist in advancements in that field. Making an impact that way would help people and be positive. I would hopefully be helping people in their medical struggles, which would help me be remembered.
I can't say that I can impact my world the way Ayn Rand did; maybe because I am more of a scientific person. I might invent some sort of medicine or some way to cure people's incurable illness(notice that I want to be a doctor, more likely a surgeon)and help people have a better life.
I plan to impact the world by giving positive actions to others. I plan to be a pediatrician, special ed teacher or a psychiatrist. but who knows what the future wants for us. We're in control of our actions but not of our future. We determine our future. Things could happen that could possibly change things for us. Hopefully we all have positive actions.
Everyday we make an impact on the world with our decisions. No matter what we do, our decisions affect more than ourselves. We can make a better impact on our world by making sure those decisions are the right ones, and beneficial to all concerned. By embracing this philosophy, and making the right choices, we can make the world a better place and safer for everyone. If I make the right choices, other people might too. One person can make a difference, so make that person you.
I can't predict the future. I don't know how my life will impact the world, but in reality, my interest isn't in changing the whole world. I'm interested in changing individual lives. If I can just touch one person's life, I've changed how they live their life, and in that aspect, they can change someone's life. I don't know what my life will accomplish. I don't know if I will impact the world. All i know is that if i change even one life for the better, than I've accomplished something.
My impact on the world is a topic I have not often thought about. Anyone can make an impact but only a handful of people can make a positive impact. I hope that my impact will not only be positve, but influential and leading. One action can change the way we impact the world.

When I think of how I would like to impact the world, many thoughts come to mind. I have a few goals that i have set for myself and I am working on achieving them. The main way I would like to impact the world is through my writing. Writing is a great way to communicate to people.I plan on writing in the hopes of speaking to teenagers who have struggled with abuse of any kind. I want to help these teens to learn how to cope with the pain they have suffered.
Many peole have made an impact in my life. I look up to those poeple because they have helped me have a different view of the world. I would like to make an impact in kids lives, kids who don't have a home. I would like to be part of something people can look up to me on. By helping homeless kids I would make an impact in someone life and maybe even the world.
Ayn Rand's philosophy has had a major influence on today's society. I would like to live in a world where everyone could live in peace, and there would be now war or disputes over anything. I would like to live in a world where everyone is treated equally everywhere. I would like to have this kind of impact on the world.

There are so many people who want to stay in their own little world and not listen to anyone's beliefs but their own. I think the world would be a better place if people could learn to open themselves up to new ideas and possibilities. I know this idea is kind of vauge, but it makes me so sad to see someone who refuses to listen to anyone but themselves. I hope that one day I can find a way to show people how much better their lives would be if they would learn to open their minds.
I am not sure how I would impact the world. There are so many things that intrest me that I do not know where I will go or what I will choose. The future, few people actually know what the future holds. 50 years ago people thought that we would have flying cars, jetpacks, and even little robots that would obey our every command. The future is unique in the fact that you can never truthfully know what will happen, there is always a certain level of uncertainty of events to come.The future is inherently complex and evolving; the impact one person will make in the whole grand scheme of things is generally low, but every great once in a while someone comes along who changes the way people think. Ayn Rand was one of those people; she disregarded the ideas of the time and said that selfishness was a virtue. Now I do not know how much of a true impact I will have in the world in the entirety of time, but if there is one thing I could accomplish in this world, I would like to simply open people up to new ideas. The broadening of peoples minds has a fantastic effect on people, when people learn that change is going to happen; and that change is not necessarily bad. If people accept change then the world would be a more peaceful place, and in the end that's what I really want.
I do not plan on discovering a cure for some rare disease or being the CEO of a big corporate office. I would much rather leave an impact on my friends and family rather than the whole world. I will accomplish that by simply trying to be the best person I can be by making good decisions.

I do not want to become so consumed by my own selfishness that I ignore the wonderful world around me. I want to be a cheery old woman rejoicing in my rocking chair about how blessed I am to have lived the life I lived. A life where I touched the lives of as many people as I could or where I helped as many people as I could. A life where I was the best Emily I could possibly me. And if I can influence the lives of those who influenced me, then I will have impacted my world in a way I am proud of.

ReplyDeleteI do not plan on influencing my world quite the same way Ayn Rand influenced hers. All I want is to live a life that others will be proud of. Furthermore, I want to live a life that I will be proud of. Eighty years from now, I do not want to be that bitter old woman whining in my wheelchair about how horrible my life turned out to be. I do not want to become so consumed by my own selfishness that I ignore the wonderful world around me. I want to be a cheery old woman rejoicing in my rocking chair about how blessed I am to have lived the life I lived. A life where I touched the lives of as many people as I could or where I helped as many people as I could. A life where I was the best Emily I could possibly me. And if I can influence the lives of those who influenced me, then I will have impacted my world in a way I am proud of.
ReplyDeletei would love to impact my world, but in a completely positive way. We can all do great things if we put our minds to it. but we would start small then work our way up. i think everybody has impacted the world one way or another.
